Over 20 years ago, our founders introduced the first devices for permanent hair removal to the German market. In contrast to lasers, which only use a single wavelength, the IPL procedure emits a whole range of wavelengths from the red spectrum. Since hair follicles are located at different depths of the skin, the IPL procedure delivers the heat optimally to these areas individually and can thus efficiently and effectively combat and eliminate the germ cells of the hair. In the 1st generation of laser devices, all the light energy was delivered in a single pulse. Later, the SHR method (Super Hair Removal) was developed. Here, the handpiece is moved back and forth over a fixed area for a longer period of time. The pulses have little energy. The temperature is gradually increased until the required value is reached. This means that the skin is not subjected to as much stress and the treatment is less noticeable than with the single pulse method.
